The Automotive Testing Laboratory in Hannover is a group of engineers who carry out a variety of tests and research to bring technology as close as possible to the needs of customers. Turbomax has identified more than 100 processes, production parameters and variables that are monitored and controlled during the production of various batteries. In our automotive test lab, we measure battery power requirements, diagnose and test equipment to contribute to achieving the highest quality standards. Based on its R&D studies, Production Development and technological investments, plant where Turbomax batteries are manufactured holds ISO 14001, ISO 16949, IS0 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 50001 and OHSAS 18001 quality certificates and ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Management Certificate in compliance with the international norms and standards.

What's new? Start Stop Technologies!

It’s very common when driving in congested urban areas to be sitting stationary in your car, whether you’re at a set of traffic lights or stuck in a jam, and whilst it makes sense to turn our engines off, it’s very rare that people do. That’s where start-stop technology comes in because it automatically does it for us, creating less pollution and saving fuel.

Environmentally friendly technologies

The Start&Stop feature, which was developed in order to reduce the emission of harmful gases to the environment of vehicles working with fossil fuels, has also led to a change in battery production.

Enhanced flooded battery

In vehicles that make a lot of stop-go in traffic, when the Start&Stop feature is active, the battery's restarting the engine by cranking continuously causes a serious reduction in battery life. For this reason, our EFB batteries are designed to work for 4 years or more.
